How to unlock chat commands
Discover what your pet can really do. Let your viewers chat with your pet using custom chat commands powered by tokens.
First, a word about tokens
Chat commands are a VIP feature. Not because we want to gatekeep, but because they run on tokens.
Tokens are what power Pando's generated responses. Every reaction, every clever comeback, every unhinged fortune-telling, that's Claude's LLM doing its job. When you start a trial or activate a VIP bundle, you unlock a pool of tokens that keep the magic running.
Without tokens, chat commands would just give you a static, pre-written reply, and feel more like an FAQ than a virtual pet.
Because of tokens, every chat command response is unique and can even be personal to the viewer asking.
So what can you do with them?
By default, !yourpetname lets anyone in chat ask your pet a direct question. But that's just the starting point.
Here are three commands worth setting up on day one:
!joke — Pando cracks a joke, and yes, it'll include the viewer's name or whatever they threw in the message.
!song — TTS turns Pando into the world's worst singer. The lyrics, though? Genuinely surprising. Especially if you've set a sarcastic personality preset.
Your viewers will probably clip it, which makes it great material for post-stream short-form content.:
!fortune — Glory and good fortune to everyone, right? Let Pando peer into the future. Whether it's encouragement or chaos, the fortune always lands.
What else could you do?
Chat commands are essentially customizable conversation starters. Once you start thinking in that direction, the ideas come fast. A few worth exploring:
- !roast — Let viewers request a light roast of whatever's happening on screen
- !advice — Ask Pando for completely unreliable life advice
- !hype — Trigger a hype message ahead of a big moment, boss fight, or final round
- !vibe — Pando reads the room and describes the current stream energy
Chat commands give your viewers something to do every stream.
You can do a sarcastic pet, combined with a Yo'mama joke, and it will absolutely roast you.
